Terms of Service

By creating an account or using WolfScribe Studio (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by More Than Design UK Ltd (trading as WolfScribe Studio), registered in England and Wales. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and applicable EU consumer law.

WolfScribe Studio is an AI-powered transcription platform. It allows you to upload audio and video files or submit YouTube links, and receive text transcriptions with optional speaker identification. Transcriptions can be exported in multiple formats (Markdown, DOCX, TXT, SRT).

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service (or the minimum digital consent age in your country if higher).
• You must provide accurate and truthful registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You retain full ownership of all audio, video, and other content you upload to WolfScribe Studio (“Your Content”).

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the transcription service. Specifically:

• Your uploaded files are transmitted to our AI transcription provider (AssemblyAI) for processing and deleted from our storage immediately after transcription is complete.
• We will never use Your Content to train AI models.
• We will never sell, license, or share Your Content with third parties except as necessary to process it (see our Privacy Policy, Section 5).
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and transcribe any content (e.g., consent from any speakers recorded, compliance with copyright).

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Record or transcribe individuals without their knowledge or consent where required by law
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Resell, sublicence, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems
• Use the Service for bulk surveillance or mass data collection

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

WolfScribe Studio offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Hobbyist, Pro, Studio) as well as one-time credit packs. All pricing is displayed in USD.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed by Stripe.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. You retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds: Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has started, except where required by applicable EU consumer law. One-time credit packs are non-refundable once credits have been used.
• Usage limits: Monthly plan limits reset on each billing cycle date. Unused minutes do not carry over between cycles for subscriptions. Credit pack minutes never expire.
• EU Consumer Rights: If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, except where the service has already been provided. By starting to use the Service immediately after purchase you acknowledge and waive this right to the extent permitted by law.

We aim to keep WolfScribe Studio available and reliable, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily limits access.

Transcription quality depends on the quality of the uploaded audio and the capabilities of our AI provider (AssemblyAI). We do not guarantee perfect accuracy.

All elements of the WolfScribe Studio platform — including the interface, branding, and software — are owned by More Than Design UK Ltd or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission.

Transcribed text output from Your Content belongs to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by EU law.

We are committed to processing your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please read our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by EU law and the laws of the member state in which we are established. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence.
